Jacques Fath

In April 1944, Jacques Fath established his Couture House at 39 Avenue Pierre 1er de Serbie in Paris, where it remained for decades.

Jacques Fath began a career that would have made him the challenger of Christian Dior. Fath was dressing movie stars and aristocrats (he created for Ava Gardner, Greta Garbo, Marlene Dietrich and Rita Hayworth to mention only a few); he was earning worldwide recognition. He was the first to export to the United States, where his name is still recognized today.

In 1945, he launched his first perfume CHASUBLE and two years later the mythical IRIS GRIS followed by the ever classic GREEN WATER both by famous perfumer Vincent Roubert. In 1950, he  decided to found his fragrance company and enriched it with the launch of CANASTA, and FATH DE FATH.

In 2006, the French Fashion Group, Alliance Designers, took over the brand and decided to bring JACQUES FATH  back to its original splendor and fame. The new Fashion collections are faithful to the spirit and vision of the Designer: High-End sophistication, elegance, happiness, seduction and allure.

The Fragrances are also re-designed to fit into the current direction while keeping their precious and elegant heritage.
